Catch an early flight into the nearby Eagle County Regional Airport. This airport is located only 20 miles away from Beaver Creek, so you can be at the base of the mountain just 30 minutes after landing. In addition, the Beaver Creek ski resort offers free skiing on the same day of arrival at this airport. Just show your boarding pass at the ticket window to get your free day pass.

Plan your routes. Beaver Creek operates on a huge amount of terrain, and it can be overwhelming to try to choose your routes. Have a look at a terrain map and try to find routes that are close to your favorite lift and are at your desired skill level.

Look for deals. Beaver Creek offers a number of ski pass and lodging deals, so check the website regularly and look for the best deal.

Try out Cross-country skiing. Most people immediately think of downhill skiing when they visit Beaver Creek. However, the resort also maintains a system of trails specifically for cross-country skiing. The Nordic Sports Center at Beaver Creek also gives both full and half-day lessons in cross country skiing, so no experience is necessary to enjoy this sport.

Relax in the evening. Get pampered at one of the spas located in the resort, have a fabulous dinner at one of the many restaurants, and enjoy live music or a Broadway production in one of the villages.
